Delicious Berry Smoothie

A fast recipe for people on the move.

Perhaps the biggest surprise ingredient in this delicious smoothie is avocado. When I first heard about this I wasn’t convinced and had to try it for myself before I believed what a big difference it made. Adding avocado makes your smoothie super creamy and the extra healthy fat helps to keep you satisfied longer. It also helps to balance out the alkaline/acid balance. Try it!


Ingredients

2 level scoops of 180nutrition whey or pea protein
½ cup of fresh or frozen berries
300-400 mL filtered water (you could also use half water and half unsweetened coconut milk)
1/2 a ripe avocado
Ice


Method

Combine ingredients and blend.

Serve in a tall glass.
