Chocolate Muffin High Tea

How is this possible I hear you ask? Chocolate muffins on a weight loss program. Well I have tested these personally and I can say that two of these delicious treats, topped with a little creme fraiche  and some sliced strawberries won’t knock you out of ketosis. The limit is two per day however. So next time you have guests coming over for afternoon tea you will be able to join in.


Ingredients

1 cup almond meal
1 egg, beaten
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons creme fraiche
1/2 cup filtered water
Stevia drops to taste


Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Grease a muffin tin.

Mix the dry ingredients together.

Blend egg and cream together and then add to dry ingredients.

Bake until muffins are golden brown (approximately 20 minutes).

Allow to cool and slice in half

Top each half with a small amount of creme fraiche and slices of strawberries
