Using only one or two drops of blood taken from the end of your finger, we use the high powered Hemaview microscope to gain an accurate and immediate indication of the size and shape of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets to gain a comprehensive understanding of your general health. This technology allows us to capture and project images onto a monitor so you can see your blood. We will screen your blood and explain how different aspects of what we see may relate to your health.
Much like Urinary indicans testing, we use Hemaview to help identify the presence of common health conditions which may slow weight loss, prior to the start of your program. Hemaview can identify the presence of low-grade systemic inflammation in the blood which causes disruption to your fluid balance and may be masking an underlying cause of weight retention.
Hemaview can also be used to identify several biomarkers that indicate poor liver function. Healthy liver function is vital to ensure healthy glycogen metabolism. Signs such as delayed chylomicron clearance and low-grade inflammation can be associated with sluggish liver function that benefit from support at the start of your program.
